THOR 6

THOR 6, launched in 2009, is a combined broadcasting and data services satellite.

The satellite provides high-powered coverage for broadcasting services in Central and Eastern Europe, and the Nordics.

It also delivers robust, high-speed internet access to our maritime mobility clients offering regional coverage with an excellent elevation angle over Europe, North Atlantic, and parts of North Africa.

THOR 6 was manufactured by Thales Alenia Space.
