At Space Norway, we undertake complex development projects in addition to operating our infrastructure, which includes satellite fleets, teleports, terrestrial and subsea networks.

Space Norway excels in designing, developing, and operating satellites, as well as managing our fibreoptic cables to Svalbard. Advancing the future through joint endeavors

Collaborations with space agencies

As a European entity, Space Norway maintains a robust partnership with the European Space Agency (ESA), collaborating on numerous research and development projects.

Additionally, as a Norwegian company, we work closely with the Norwegian Space Agency (NOSA).

Through our subsidiary Statsat, we also manage the operation of NOSA’s satellites.

International partnerships

Building satellites requires a high level of expertise. We are proud to work with accomplished partners to meet our customers’ connectivity requirements.

Notably, Northrop Grumman constructed our two ASBM satellites, which were successfully launched into high elliptical orbit in August 2024. The MicroSAR satellite is currently being built by Surrey Satellite Technology, while the ADIS satellite is under construction by OHB Sweden. Furthermore, our satellite launches would not have been possible without the support of SpaceX.
