Focus on sustainability is central to our strategic framework, emphasizing privacy, data protection, health, safety, and supply chain sustainability as core elements. Our approach is guided by five focus areas: Security-Critical Infrastructure, Space Sustainability, Climate Action, Human Rights and Worker Welfare, and Competence Development. These areas are fundamental to our strategy, driving us to reduce environmental impact through eco-friendly practices and uphold ethical governance. By prioritizing these initiatives, we aim to lead by example in the industry, fostering responsible growth and innovation that benefits society at large.
Double materiality analysis
Space Norway undertook a comprehensive double materiality analysis in 2024, utilizing the methodology outlined by the CSRD. This analysis encompasses both Space Norway and its wholly owned subsidiaries.
The study features two distinct components: an impact materiality analysis and a financial materiality analysis. The impact materiality analysis aims to pinpoint the positive or negative effects that Space Norway has on the climate, environment, and society. Concurrently, the financial materiality analysis is designed to identify external risks and opportunities that could influence the company’s future value creation.
